Experience Summary
As a young student I was very motivated to attend medical school at a young age. I received a bachelor degree, BS, in biology with minors in both psychology and chemistry. After graduating with my undergraduate degree early, I unexpectedly found a passion for teaching. Currently, I am working towards my masters degree, MS, in biology. Along with this I have been teaching introductory science labs for the university. I also, enjoy tutoring, one-on-one, students ranging from 2nd grade to undergraduates, in my spare time. My tutor experiences include interacting with special needs student as well.
Teaching Style
As a student myself I know exactly what I want and expect out of a teacher. Learning is exciting for me, and it is important to me that I convey the 'fun' aspects of learning to my students. I am believe in conforming the way I teach to match the student's learning abilities. It is my job to make sure the student walks away fully understanding the information as opposed to acting like they understand it.
