Experience Summary
I have a passion for Math and Finance, which developed early in my life. This passion was later translated in my career and education. I was a Dean’s List Graduate Student at Boston College, where I earned two Master Degrees, one in Business, and one in Finance. I have an extensive experience in using numbers and applying statistical models, by working in finance, specifically in portfolio management and analytics.
I also have an extensive experience in tutoring and helping others reach their learning potential. Having scored 730 on my GMAT, I have helped many potential MBA’s in their GMAT preparation. In addition, I tutored kids in sciences, business and economics, as a part of the “Junior Achievement” project on the BC campus.
Teaching Style
I have experience tutoring children and adults in various subjects, and believe that everybody is capable of learning at their own pace. For all the students I have worked with, I have been able to recognize the obstacles each student had with the given subject and set the pace for learning of the subject for that particular student.
I am patient, easy going and considerate. My goal is help and coach students to learn, reach their potential and hopefully make a difference in their education.
