Experience Summary
I am a French native and have been living in the Pittsburgh area for 18 years. I have been a French Teacher and private Tutor since 2000.
I have been teaching or am currently teaching High School French (Levels 1, 2 and 3), High School Latin (Level 1), and Introduction to Languages.
I also have experience in teaching French in Elementary Schools (all grades) and Kindergarten.
I have implemented Summer Camps and After School Programs in Elementary schools.
I offer private tutoring for teenagers and adults at all levels.
I am a Member of the following Organizations: Alliance Française of Pittsburgh, AATF (American Association of Teachers of French), PaCIE (Pennsylvania Council for International Education).
Teaching Style
As a private tutor, I give lessons to students whose ages range from thirteen to adult, and whose level varies from beginner to advanced. I teach mostly conversational, and as we progress, I introduce basic grammar. Those who are already taking French in school or in college and need to come up to speed on their current curriculum can also benefit from my tutoring. I work with the textbook and help with the understanding of the lessons through various exercises.
