Experience Summary
As a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and a Masters degree in Molecular Pharmacology from the Medical School, I feel I have an excellent background to tutor biology. In addition I have 5 years practical experience in biological research which reinforces the concepts I learned. Furthermore, I have biology tutoring experience at CCAC North and through a tutoring company.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and working with students. I have experience working with students with learning disabilities as well as autism, and I believe all students can learn. I am patient, flexible, and understand that some students need more explanations than others. My goal is to provide the best education possible for each individual student. I believe all students can succeed at their own time if they are given the appropriate teaching methods and instruction.
