Experience Summary
I have earned a BA in Psychology which has not only helped me to understand different learning styles but has also helped me to better convey information to a variety of people. I was considering a degree in animal science which required me to take many college math courses. I have always had the patience and interest in math and have completed coursework up to Introductory Calculus. I have been tutoring in math for the past year because I truly enjoy being able to share the knowledge I have to help others succeed.
Teaching Style
I believe that each student has a unique way of learning and it is my job to get to know their needs so I can be of use to them. I am very patient and will not hold judgment because I know math can be difficult. Making each problem a step by step process and adding a little fun will hopefully make each student be more successful.
