Experience Summary
I have spent my collegiate career studying both the physical and social sciences,I am adept in biology, anthropology, sociology, ecology, demography, and genetics. Also I am experienced in chemistry, psychology, algebra, and the French language. I am use to diversity having conducted a plethora of cultural research, I have written many papers on genomic imprinting, cultural influence of genetic development, cross-cultural cognition, human adaptation, bio-energy production, and in psychological genetic influence.I have spent many nights during college and some after tutoring other students in biology, various anthropology fields, beginning French, and in basic chemistry through study groups, or individual tutoring sessions.
Teaching Style
I have extensive experience tutoring adults, and teenagers, I have three young children and spend time working with them on a daily basis. I wouldn’t say I have a “style” per say; but I always strive to be understanding and patient, while trying to encourage a student’s focus on their tasks at hand. I seek out what methods will be most effective on an individual basis and try to tailor my methods and mannerisms to their respective needs, and also stress repetition, repetition, repetition.
