Experience Summary
I recently obtained my MA degree in education and also hold a BS degree in Exercise Science. I am certified to teach grades Kindergarten through eighth grade in the states of Tennessee and North Carolina. I am certified to teach language arts , science, math, and social studies. I have previously taught for the Robeson County school system in North Carolina teaching sixth grade science and social studies. I have also had experience working for a local tutoring center tutoring students having difficulty in reading and math.
Teaching Style
My goal is to provide the best educational experience for my students. I truly enjoy working with young people and helping them learn. I believe that all children can learn regardless of abilities and backgrounds when provided with the appropriate learning environment. I also believe that each child is unique and has different styles of learning, and how these students learn should be incorporated as part of their learning experience to help these students reach their academic potential. I am a strong believer in the constructivist approach to learning and will use this approach whenever appropriate to assist students in their learning experiences.
