Experience Summary
I have earned one bachelor degree, in Business Administration with Minors in Finance and Management, and am currently working on a second, in Secondary Education Mathematics. I have always scored well in my math classes and have helped other students with their math homework. I have tutored a few students over the past few years in math – mainly business calculus. In addition, I have extensive computer knowledge and am often the “go to” person for software application help.
Teaching Style
My teaching style depends on the student. If the student is not understanding something I present the information in one way. If this does not click, then I will find another way to explain the information. I love to see kids (and adults) understand new concepts. I am very patient when teaching and use repetition frequently to help the student learn the foundations of the subject. I do not think something is too hard for a student to learn. I feel that if they do try and put forth a little bit of effort they will see positive outcomes.
