Experience Summary
I have gained diverse teaching experience beginning in college, in which I taught a class to struggling freshman. I then attained my Master's in Teaching. Because I was a December graduate, I worked for the remaining school year with elementary-aged students who needed additional services in reading. I then moved into the full-time classroom, in which I specialize in reading, math, science, social studies, and technology.
Teaching Style
Teaching has always been my calling because I love children. All children are learners, just in different ways. I enjoy finding what it is that drives a child to learn. I am a huge advocate of using technology to facilitate learning. I also believe that learning should be meaningful and build upon prior experiences. Education is key, and great educators look first at the child and then within to find strategies to best reach each child's needs.
