Experience Summary
With a BS degree in Chemistry/physics and MS degree in Chemistry, I have a full understanding of the full life cycle of teaching Chemistry. During my undergraduate study I have followed the normal cycle of Math from Pre-algebra to Calculus III. I have tutored in Math in the past. Also I have a minor in French. I do have experience in learning and excelling at new technologies as needed.I spent the last few years teaching at the college as lecturer, laboratory instructor or teacher assistant/tutor. During my duties I Demonstrated self-motivation, time management skill, strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.
Teaching Style
As a chemistry educator and chemistry being among the most important subject areas where students struggle the most, my philosophy includes encouraging a lot of individual thought and inspiration in the classroom. In fact, I want my students to become adequate problem solvers and analytical thinkers and in the process essentially allowing my students to educate one another and the traditional role of a teacher, with time I want to be more of a classroom facilitator.
In addition to that, my philosophy of education includes a lot of love, patience, kindness, and time. I believe that students have many needs with attention being the most important one.
