Experience Summary
My degree in Speech and Language came after I had been married and had 3 children. I earned a combination degree in Speech and Language and Teaching. My maturity and personal experience enabled me to teach and train children by starting with what the child already know. This approach to learning helps the child's self esteem, and allow the teacher to find out from the child what are his/her fears about learning. Secondly, I have excellent oral and written communication skills due to writing numerous professional reports, memos, letters and up dating files. I am computer literate.
Teaching Style
My teaching stlye is to know as much about my students as possible. I enjoy working with children and watching them learn.
I know with understanding and patience, any child can learn. I believe that when a child is in a receptive environment, she/he will be able to relax and enjoy my open approach to teaching. I know I can make a difference any child's life and they and their family will be happy with the end results.
