Experience Summary
I was an A-grade student in my undergrad, which were only the top ten percent of the batch, working on my bachelors and masters at the same time. I have been on dean's honor list several times, and was a scholarship recipient for my entire masters degree. I am currently a computer engineer, working towards my doctorate in computer engineering. I have been writing technical papers which have helped develop strong writing skills over the past few years. I have tutored student on and off in the past eight years. I have helped students from understanding the basics of addition and multplication to solving differential equations and engineering math. I have also helped students with their programming problems.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and I find it interesting to see how each one of us may need different way of explanation to understand the same problem. I feel that over time, we all tend to develop our own way of solving problems, which is really an indication that we are ready to solve the problems on our own. So when I start teaching someone, my first step is to help them develop an understanding of the problem, as a major part of solving a problem lies in a good understanding of it. Once students have a good understanding of a problem, the solution becomes much simpler.
