Experience Summary
I hold a BS from St. Bonaventure University in Elementary Education, and a Master’s Degree in Integrating Technology into the Classroom from Walden University. I graduated 7th of 645 from St. Bonaventure, where I focused on teaching with hands-on activities and technology infused lessons. My teaching experience includes being the director of an After School Program focused on reading and a long-term substitute, teaching one on one special education and substituting in regular classrooms from PreK to 9th grade. My teaching passion is with 3-6 year olds, though I enjoy working with all ages. Through my experiences, I have had the pleasure of teaching a variety of ages and abilities in many different learning environments.
Teaching Style
I have a love of learning and teaching others. I believe everyone has their own unique abilities and learning styles. I strive to utilize strategies of instruction which focus on multiple learning styles. I also believe a mastery of basic concepts is necessary before more challenging material can be learned. I will work to provide your learner with instruction that will enable them to master concepts and move forward with confidence.
