Experience Summary
As a graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, I have developed a passion for teaching children to be the best they can be. During the last 8 years I have taught Grades K -5 along with tutoring Math and Reading one-on-one and in small groups. I have also worked extensively with ESOL and ESE Students. I have studied and taught Project Child which is "Changing How Instruction for Learning is Delivered", where children learn through group center station activities and use manipulatives.
Teaching Style
I love to see the personal growth in children. All students are unique and learn in different ways. One-on-one and small groups are what I love the best. I believe the self esteem in a child is extremely important. Once a child is encouraged to learn he or she will feel better about himself.
