Experience Summary
During my high school and colleges years I enjoyed helping my peers in different courses, noticing that I'm really good when it comes to teach. So, I decided to offer my services as a tutor for all types of courses for school student (from elementary to high school) and for college students that were taking courses I already have taken. I also have experience as a substitute teacher. Some of the courses that I have tutored are
all types of mathematics (algebra, pre-calculus, calculus and others), all types of sciences (chemistry, physics, biology and others), basic and intermediate English, basic and intermediate Spanish.
Teaching Style
It is very important for me that each student can understand what I'm explaning, this is why I use different types of methods to help them visualize and understand my explanations. For each student I used to prepare sketches, brainstorms and flashcards. When it comes to math or sciences courses I had a white board for the equations. Also, I use, as examples and comparisons, things that they do frequently for better and fast comprehension and understanding.
