Experience Summary
I have a strong background in science and math, giving me a passion for both subjects. I have always loved math, but when discovering a love for science, it seemed to be the perfect marriage for me to study chemistry. I earned a BS in Chemistry at USF and have also taught Chemistry to first year students my senior year giving me an edge on teaching. I have also taught martial arts to many students in the past, giving me an edge on being disciplined and understanding. I believe I am more than able to teach algebra, calculus, and science in your program. I also tutor Spanish.
Teaching Style
I have been teaching martial arts since high school. I studied Wing Chun Kung Fu at an early age and later became my Sifu's helper in and out of class. I like to base my teaching like martial arts, teach the information by showing how its done, then use examples of it directly involving the student, and later having them try to see if they caught on or if they may need more assistance. In other words, show the block technique, show how the block is used, have them try the block. I show the material in every detail and usage.
