Experience Summary
I am a positive outgoing individual who has taught at the college level since 2002. My undergraduate degree is in communications and my masters is in business administration. I engaged the students by taking the textbook theories and applying those learnings to every day living and issues that they can relate to and ask questions to stimulate the thought process. I have instructed a student in math for over 1 month thus allowing him to pass 9th grade math and have instructed students in 5, 6, 7 & high school in science and social studies while I was a substitute teach for the Wapakoneta School systems. In my undergraduate work, I have taken various science, history and math classes in order to get my college degrees.
Teaching Style
I have a passion for students and get them engaged with the learning process immediately. I am very patient, listen openly and treat students both with dignity and professionalism. I believe that students can meet their potential provided that they are supplied with the tools that are necessary for learning. Teaching both at the high school, junior high and college level have provided me with working closely with a diverse group and I've left a positive impact on their learnings which have been mentioned in all of the student evaluations that were given. Our children are our future and I want to have an impact on future generations.
