Experience Summary
After graduating from high school with honors in both the International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement programs, I went on to earn two bachelor degrees from the University of the Pacific, one in International Relations and the other in French Language and Literature, in addition to a Minor in Economics. While earning my BA in French, I studied abroad in Paris, France. Upon my return, I tutored college level French and economics courses. Additionally, I have one year experience tutoring elementary age reading and writing.
Teaching Style
As I was fortunate to have a series of excellent, dedicated tutors and mentors as a child, I wish to provide the same care to other children. I believe children can learn and achieve with one-on-one attention and a lesson plan tailored to meet their special needs. I bring encouragement and patience to each tutoring session, and I find ways to help children grow and become more confident in their academic abilities.
