Experience Summary
I have been in the field of education for over 10 years, certified in advanced fine arts, teaching music, dance and also coordinating after school academic programs. I yearned to learn more about the styles of learning and how to reach each child in the class so I completed a Master's in Divergent Learning, the study of learning styles and how to address them in curriculum instruction. I have since been continuing my experience as the Director of a 21st century grant funded after school program geared toward teaching in the 21st century.
Teaching Style
I am a person that believes that each student can learn and reach success. Each person has an unique way of learning and it is up to me to figure out what that way is and help the child to utilize it as a strength. I have a motto for children and it is: "You Can and You Will." This is what I teach my children to say because "If you can believe, You can achieve!" There is power in the tongue.
