Experience Summary
As a dedicated and certified educator, I have taken and successfully passed the PRAXIS exam the first time that I took it. I also completed an extensive training program for NJ Alternate Route Teachers. I have spent 7 years working in public education with children and 3 years as a teacher librarian in a primary school and 2 years as a technology teacher in a elementary school. Prior to my entry into public education I worked as an instructor for adult learners for over 5 years. I have earned a master’s degree in Instructional Media Specialization and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management which enabled me to gain understandings in both math and literacy areas.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is to encourage students to do their best at all times by setting high expectations for them. I use my soft-spoken, easy going, and focused mannerism to provide the best level of instruction. Students are encouraged to become independent thinkers in problem solving and in discovery of the study habits that will help them to succeed in their academic careers.
