Experience Summary
I have been a musician for 6 years, playing in a variety of bands at different venues. I have formally studied music for the past few years and excelled in the subject. I have taken multiple theory classes and passed each with grades much higher then average. My main instruments of focus are acoustic/electric guitar and bass. I play all different genres of music, ranging from classic rock and blues to metal and country. I have all the tools and knowledge to pass on what i have learned to other "musicians in training".
Teaching Style
My teaching style is hands on. I like to teach though demonstration, and if the students still struggle with the concept, I will break it down and show them step by step the proper technique to master the given material. I will start with the basics and build up. I can also take what the student already knows and build upon their existing knowledge. After I have taught them the material, I will help them put it into practice to truly demonstrate that they understand and completely grasp the subject matter.
