Experience Summary
While earning my degree I worked as a pre-school teacher creating lesson plans and activites that were age appropriate. I have two years experience in public school teaching English for grades 9-12, and one year experience teaching journalism, art, yearbook and English in a private school.
Teaching Style
All childern have the capacity to excel. It requires discovering the ways a student learns best (visual,auditory etc.) and applying that to teaching techniques with the expectation of success. I teach every lesson with a verbal, a visual, and written instruction so a student has every opportunity to retain knowledge and instruction. I love teaching and talking about grammar and literature and can pass that same love on to students as I have in the past.
