Experience Summary
I have enjoyed learning and teaching my whole life. I earned a degree from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Elementary Education,and minors in English and Psychology. I have experience tutoring neighborhood students, as well as two years of professional middle school teaching. I am licensed to teach grades k-8 in English, math, science and social studies.
Teaching Style
I love working with students of all ages and abilities. My last job was in a self-contained middle school classroom for students with behavior problems and learning and emotional disabilities. I had students from the first grade reading level up to college level readers. I learned to adapt my teaching styles to meet each individual student's needs.
