My teaching style relies heavily on feedback from the client. I try to have a phone call with a student to learn what they are having difficulty with but also what their professor might expect from them. Then I get a good sense of their personality to understand the best way to get ideas across to them. The key to successful teaching is to make it fun! I have a law degree, but most of my experience comes from working with my own kids and spending hundreds of hours volunteering at their schools helping other children. I home schooled my children for 3 years for the middle school years and so I have experience motivating the surly teen who has no motivation to work as well as the young child that just wants to play.
