My comments on tutoring Anatomy : BS Biology and held NC teaching certificate for 4 years prior to changing fields. Worked in college as a laboratory assistant for three years.

My teaching style varies to the student. I first try to asses prior knowledge and comprehension through general questions. Once this has been established, I use examples, visual aids, and verbal communication to better illustrate the topic at hand. Everyone has different learning styles. Therefore, it is vital to teach using the most appropriate style for the individual.

I will tailor my teaching to the individual student. One thing I've learned in my education program is that some kids learn visually while others learn auditorily, and so on.
