I Love Programming in .Net Core!

After completing my undergraduate degree in English Literature at Florida State University, I worked as a substitute teacher in Hillsborough County for two years. In 2009, I completed my Master's Degree in Communication at University of South Florida while simultaneously employed at the Department of Special Education. I have been tutoring with Advanced Learners for 1 year and am currently an Adjunct Instructor of Public Speaking at HCC Dale Mabry.
Once while subbing, I entered a classroom where the students had been allowed to watch Jerry Springer on TV for the last two weeks. I couldn't let this continue, but I saw how emotional the class was about the show. I encouraged them to write their own talk show and told them we would perform it the next day. I find that connecting student's interest with the subject matter to be learned is the best way to teach.

My comments on tutoring Math : Tutored for several years in Supplemental Education Services (SES) to prepare students for FCAT; also provided GED and college readiness classes in basic Math and Reading skills.

I believe that all students can and will achieve academic success given appropriate instruction; i.e., instruction that is differentiated according to students' specific needs, learning styles, interests, and personal goals. Math is one of my top subjects!

I have tutored a few students, but I would love to tutor more and gain new experiences. My students all had a "C" or below in math and I helped raise them to a "B" or an "A". I have taken and passed Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Analysis of Functions, and Trigonometry. All of those were of the Honors level. Full-time teacher looking to help students

I am a full-time teacher and have been in the classroom for more than 7 years. I have taught various ages and subjects including 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.
