My Ph. D. work involved solving a second order partial differential equation which reflects real life utrlasound vibrated water streams capable of producing dropwise precipitation at within 1% reproducibility between drops, this led to an unprecedented ability to solve very sophisticated equations. My earned masters degree in chemical engineering makes it possible for me to tutor equally well in chemistry and mathematics. All children have the ability to learn, however some children simply need to be taught in a different way. In law school I am a teaching assistant and my favorite part about working with students is finding out what a student's learning style is. Based upon the learning style they describe I adapt my teaching methods to best fit their style. Children don't usually know what their learning style is, so I also enjoying figuring out what methods best suit them--be it auditory, visual, or kinesthetic.

All students can learn, but in different ways. I, for one, learn best by watching how something is done. I can read about it, or hear a lecture about it, but seeing it helps me understand the subject. This type of teaching would be done with movies, drawing or acting out the situation. In my teaching, I try to use all methods available to me to help the students learn and to use their creativity. I especially try to get students to work in groups and to share their work with each other. I find that pier groups provide the best help in understanding the subject matter. The classroom should be a learning place of activities and fun.
