My experience as a teacher has been most in a foreign country teaching mathematics in several levels, since junior high School to senior high school. I also had taught Spanish in high levels. I got my teaching license in El Salvador in 1979 teaching in elementary schools and after I took several classes of Math in Jose Simeon Cañas University, which let me prepare to taught algebra from six to nine grades, finally I finish BA in Math from National University in El Salvador in 2000. I am very patient especially for students who learn slower than others because I was always a slow learner myself. I am very happy to repeat myself or go over other examples to help the student understand the concept. I also like to emphasize concept over memorization. My comments on tutoring College Algebra : I have tutored high school Algebra I and II, which are the components covered in College Algebra. I also took College Algebra as a junior in high school through PSEO and excelled in the course. I would love to help other students better understand the material.
