I studied the German language for 4 years at the University of Pittsburgh while I double majored in German and Linguistics. During these 4 years, I studied abroad for two summers in Germany, Berlin and Augsburg respectively. After I graduated, I received a Fulbright scholarship, which allowed me to live in Germany and teach English to German students for 1 year.

During that time I was a form teacher, a department chair and won several teaching scholarships including Lingua B, Fulbright Exchange program and the World Bank scholarship.
