Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! Creative writing, especially in English, is one of my favorite things to do. I see the world in terms of drama. I can teach you creative writing in a matter of minutes. I am very serious.

I teach exactly how I study. I discovered as an undergraduate student that a student has to have a plan of action when taking any course. You cannot just study without a plan and expect to score highly in a test. My teaching method has been tried and tested by me,so much so that I have consistently scored highly in most of my courses from undergraduate through graduate school and into the doctoral program. I will share my secret study methods with my students.
Patience, repetition, mini quizzes, and following a plan, pretty much summarize my teaching style. I also like to make my students comfortable, by being understanding, encouraging them to ask questions, and being very willing go over material that I have covered. My goal is to help my students improve their grades, and while doing that, to also help them love to learn.

I have a non-teaching BA degree in English. I spent all 4 college years working on my college newspaper, and two years after graduation working for a local newspaper. My job responsibilities included covering news and local functions, and then writing news and feature stores. I also helped proof read submitted articles for publication. In my 6 years of teaching experience I’ve come to find out that there is no such thing as a “stupid question.” Each child or adult has a specific way of learning according to their own character. That’s the reason some are faster to learn mathematical concepts while others are faster in literary concepts. I believe in going slow and asking my students to explain what they’ve learned in their own words. If they can do this easily it means they have mastered the concepts.
