I love children and teaching to all children. I believe children learn in many ways and have different talents. I like to teach students according to their talents and want to strive hard to for their acedamic exellence. As a computer graduate, I worked for many organizations but I am interested in teaching Math, Physics and chemistry to students. My formal background is in mathematics and statistics. I have been a computer programmer since 1984 for companies including Intel and Motorola. I am a devout reader in a wide swath of topics and authors. My yearning has been to mix scientific exploration while performing a social good. Open and flexible.Rule #1 is to listen to the student. Rule #2 is to teach the other the way I would want to be taught. My preference in teaching is to first teach the student the practical side of things. Can the student perform the basic calculations for example so as to pass the exam. Once the student has developed a "gut level understanding", then I can move onto the more theoretical understanding of the topic, depending of course on where the student is at. I try to make math relevant to life for math is a metaphor.
