I graduated from Syracuse University with a dual-major in History and Social Studies Education. I have extensive knowledge in reading, writing, and grammar due to writing two thesis papers, taking several writing-intensive courses, and also creating a plethora of lesson plans. While at Syracuse I was a student-teacher for a full year in both a Suburban, 8th grade classroom and Urban, 9-11th grade classrooms. I was also a reading tutor for an at-risk 6th grade student for a semester at a Syracuse District elementary school. I have been a substitute teacher for about 10 years specializing in math & physics. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering plus 20+ years of maintenance/engineering experience.
