A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate from Miami University. I have a degree in Adolescent/Young Adult Social Studies Education and my teaching certification is currently pending. I have over 60 credit hours completed towards a degree in music. My focus as a music student was voice, but I also spent a lot of time studying African American music. World History is one of my top subjects! I love to teach about WWII and the Civil War and I like world history as a whole. I also have a love for African-American History as well.

Tutor who seeks willingness and motivation

If you are not willing to learn the material, I cannot help you. I will ask questions about your personal learning preferences before we begin(auditory, visual, hands-on, etc.). Lesson-planning will be made according to how you want to learn whether or not it is reinforcement or new material.
I have had a lot of past experience when it comes to tutoring. I have tutored many people of various ages from children all the way to college students, relatively. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been tutoring and teaching children since high school in my Teacher's Academy class at Lakota East High School. I then went on to study Education at the University of Dayton and graduated in May of 2013 with a degree and teaching lisence. In the fall I will be employed with Dayton Public Schools.
