My comments on tutoring Geography : I have taught advanced geography for many years.

Prefer to meet one-on-one or small group instruction in a neutral location, such as a library or eatery. I am very flexible to adapt to change to the needs of the student.
I have retred after 33 years of teaching. 32 years of primarily teaching history or social studies subjects. I also have 15 years of teaching in schools for the deaf, there is some overlap of deaf education and social studies education. I am National Board Certified as a teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

As an educator, I hold three degrees in education. I have earned a BS in Elementary Education, A Master's in Elementary and I also hold a Specialist in Elementary Education as well as a Specialist in Administration and Supervision. I have taught 29 years in the public schools system. During the summer month, I tutor children in my home or at the local library. I also utilized my expertise by teaching in the after school program. I have taught reading, math, Language Arts, English in grades levels K-8.

I have been working with young children since 2005. I started as a pre-school teacher with ages 3-5. For the past five years I have worked as an elementary school Teacher's Assistant. It was there when I got the most of my experience in classroom management and actually how to teach all children with different learning styles. I worked with grades second, pre-K, fifth, and first.
