Literature is one of my top subjects! I encourage students to engage in wide reading as they are taught appreciation of various cultures,writing perspectives, stylistic devices and historical backgrounds. Every student goes through a personal learning experience by reading literature from different time periods, and I encourage all of them to analyse and respond verbally and in writing, to what they have read.

I have over 30 years teaching experience in Communication Studies, English Language, English Literature and the Art of Public Speaking/Debating. I am very patient and I make sure the student thoroughly understands a topic before moving on. I motivate the student to succeed and teach good study skills and test taking skills. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I love being able to help students feel comfortable with the material they are studying.
