I tend to be really flexible and try to adapt my teaching style to the learning style of the student. For students who tend to be more tactile, I might have them handle apples if a math problem references apples. If a student is working on a writing assignment, I will offer suggestions (such as marking spelling/grammar/punction mistakes) and help them learn how to correct the errors so they won't continue to make the same errors in the future.

A Little Bit About Me...

Applicable to this job, I remember my high school years and the processes I had during my English and Composition assignments. I completed an English Bachelor’s degree, with three different areas of focus, Professional Writing, Creative Writing, and Composition. I am finishing a Master’s degree in Rhetoric and Composition. I am on temporary, as-needed employment at Pearson Education Services as a scorer. Finally, I tutored, assisted, and participated in the lives of my fellow students.
