Creative Arts is one of my top subjects!

With more than 15 years' experience as a newspaper reporter, I have served on the staffs of local and niche newspapers. I have literally covered everything under the sun, ranging from covering a draft horse competition to writing a feature about a former Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon member. In my spare time, I write freelance articles for national trade publications and design jewelry. I've been designing jewelry for nearly as long as I've been writing. I don't use patterns and I don't copy someone else's work. I absolutely love to write. I've been a professional tutor throughout the entirety of my collegiate marathon--a lengthy 5.5 years--and have worked with a variety of different students on thousands of diverse papers. From poetry to journalism, research to flash-fiction, there isn't anything I don't love to work on. A lot of students ask, 'Where do I begin?' For most of them this is the scariest question--the resistance that keeps them from getting started. For me, this is the most exciting question, the stage where the possibilities are endless and opportunities are waiting to unfold.
