Composition is one of my top subjects! I love writing... I always have. I've spent 5.5 professional years helping students brainstorm, outline, draft, organize, structure, revise, and polish their papers. The goal of my tutoring is long-term, seeking to create better writers, not just better papers.

I absolutely love to write. I've been a professional tutor throughout the entirety of my collegiate marathon--a lengthy 5.5 years--and have worked with a variety of different students on thousands of diverse papers. From poetry to journalism, research to flash-fiction, there isn't anything I don't love to work on. A lot of students ask, 'Where do I begin?' For most of them this is the scariest question--the resistance that keeps them from getting started. For me, this is the most exciting question, the stage where the possibilities are endless and opportunities are waiting to unfold. I have worked in Cedarville University's Writing Center as a tutor for two years. As a tutor, I conducted one-on-one sessions with college-age students to help them improve their writing and critical thinking skills. I also led several workshops on various skills required for college-level writing, such as "How to write a historical/biographical analysis" and "How to write a Marxist analysis." A Little Bit About Me...
