I became a teacher after 10 years in the private sector. I taught in California in the Westminster School District for 12 years (2 as a substitute/non-contract and 10 under contract). My subjects have included language arts, social science, and U.S. History. I have developed strong research and writing skills as I have continued my educational path earning a MA, working on another MA, and with my aspirations of earning my PhD in Latin American History.
