K-12 and College Tutor

I have tutored K-12 students, as well as college students. I tutor math for K-12 students and business courses and math for college students. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching accounting is my passion. Out of all the subjects that I teach, I prefer accounting applications. I am an advisor for FBLA, "Future Business Leaders of America" where many of my students compete in accounting concepts. I have had many of my students to win and some are first through third place winners almost every year. Several of my students that I teach have gone on to major in accounting in college, become enterprenuers and use their accounting skills to successfully manage their finances, and become CPAs, financial advisors or financial managers as a career. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that patience is the most important virtue when teaching a child new material. I have a nephew who is ADHD and I have helped him with many school projects and other homework. He requires a lot of attention and a lot of patience. So I am aware that all children are different and have a different way of learning. I believe in finding what gets them motivated and expanding on that!
I have always loved teaching students the principals of Math. During my time at Harding University I was apart of a competitive Economic team (SIFE) and for them I developed original material on economic principles to present at the surrounding elementary schools and even high schools.
