My teaching style is very hands-on, involving pictures, manipulatives, and tactile modalities. I like to use a dry-erase board to demonstrated concepts as well as allow the student to practice. A Little Bit About Me...

As a Bowling Green State University student who has studied Communication Disorders I have come across many experiences with children. Communication Disorders not only includes speech, but language as well. I have gained knowledge about how children read and write and why some children may have problems with this. During my last semester of college I observed 25 hours of speech and language therpay which involved watching both adults and children. This year I will be graduating with a 3.0 in my major. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored other students in science courses and lead a laboratory course. These were rewarding experiences as I watched my peers learn and thrive in academics. This does not mean that we teach the same amount of accounting information to 5th grades as we do 11th grades. Just that we can give them a general outline for the 5th grades and a more detailed version for the 11th grades.
