I am willing to work online, travel to a house, or meet at a secondary location. (i.e. Starbucks). I am very patient and will work at any pace necessary. For example, if there is an upcoming test, covering all the fields needed for that test would take priority.
I am currently a junior at Martinsville High School. Throughout my high school career I have taken multiple math courses such as algebra I, algebra ll, geometry, pre-calculus(currently enrolled), and statistics(currently enrolled). I also have experience in physics, chemistry(currently enrolled), biology, first year German, second year german(currently enrolled), etymology, U.S. history, and World history. I am currently ranked in the top 5 of my class with an unweighted GPA of 4.0. Math is by far my strongest subject but, I willing to work in the other subjects listed above.

A Little Bit About Me...

I began college as an engineering major, so I have background in advanced mathematics and physics. I went on to change my major to psychology where I gained knowlege of social and behavioral sciences, as well as research technologies and statistical analysis. Since graduating college with a B.A. in psychology, I have worked as a psychology researcher, accounting assistant, and in 3 different roles for an international pharmaceutical company. Through my job experience, I have gained knowledge in different business disciplines and areas such as Lean/Six Sigma and Supply Chain/Logistics planning.
I love teaching all ages and skill levels. I adjust my teaching style to the individual - some people are visual learners or oral learners or hands-on learners. I teach by example and try to encourage my students to understand "why" rather than just "how."

As a student, I tutored a variety of math subjects (Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, etc.) to fellow university students. Collectively, I have over five years of experience tutoring math. In August 2010, I earned two bachelor degrees, a BS in Mathematics and a BA in English, from the University of North Texas. The most important thing to me is making sure each child is able to learn in a manner in which they feel comfortable. Each person's learning style is as unique as the individual themselves.
