A Little Bit About Me...

Finance is a passion of mine and enjoy learning and teaching it. I try to explain scenarios using real life analogies. In finance it is imperative to be patien and explain each step so that it is fully understood.
I have a BS degree in Business Administration with a Finance concentration. I am also currently working on a Masters in Finance at a private university. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style includes using visuals such as writing on a dry erase board and Powerpoint. I have a great sense of humor but I can firm when I have to be. I am patient and caring and seem to have an intuitive ability to know what the student needs the most.
I have over 25 years experience as a hospital (CFO) Chief Financial Officer. My educational experience includes: teaching high school, teaching college and tutoring elementary and junior high school. More About This Tutor...

With every management position that I have had (Controller, Finance Director, VP of Finance), I have had to train assistants along with other accounting office personnel. The level of experience would exceed 25 years.
I believe in working aside the individual, explain a task to them, and let them do the work. I would offer assistance when asked or when I saw a problem. This would always depend on the individual that I was training. I have also worked as a Junior Achievement instructor which required even closer scrutiny with the student and a greater level of patience.
