My comments on tutoring Sociology : I have studied sociology and can teach the subject.

I learn visually and by reading the subject materials. I teach by showing students what they need to know by reading and using visual aids in my teaching style. I incorporate technology in my teaching because some students are hands on. I teach students in groups and individually.
I will be graduating from the University of Dayton with a Master's of Education degreee and I have a Bachelor’s degree in History. I love History and want to teach Social Studies in grades 4th-9th. I want to make a difference in the lives of people. I have been a substitute teacher for grades K-12 and have worked in special education classrooms. I want to help children and adults learn and be the best they can be. I have worked with students and adults with special needs, emotional needs, and educational issues.

If you have the desire to learn then you can learn!

I have worked very hard to go from learning fractions to calculus as an adult and have struggled very much with learning, but now since I have been there, I am able to help many people of all different levels in math to be successfull too! I believe the best way to teach students is by utilizing a variety of learning styles. For example, for a visual learner, diagrams and pictures should be used but in order to compliment that repeating audible explanations would be great for someone who is an auditory learner.
