Most of my experience is informal with tutoring family members/church members/friends in whatever areas they were struggling. Should the mood be down at first, I would just come up with something fun, educative, something that can help to boost someone's IQ score. I have also used the NCLB Method, No Child Left Behind Method. In it, we use examples for every question, and evaluate the students every week to enhance greater learning.
