I believe that we all learn better one way versus another but it does not negate the many ways of learning as well. As a teacher I believe that everyone wants to learn but many are unable or have not been able to see the connections it has on our lives and that we all have talents and skills that needs support, encouragement or attention. I started my college education at Stanford University but finished up Cal State Stanislaus University with a degree in physical education and biology. I then taught primarily language arts and science at the middle school level for three years. After satisfying my educational wanderlust, I am now re-entering the educational field. A Little Bit About Me...

I like to take the "mystery" out of the subject. Math can be especially scary to students who don't have a strong foundation in general mathematics and reading comprehension. I am currently volunteer tutoring an adult friend in general math and I am proud to say that her understanding of the basic principles have increased dramatically in only a couple of sessions.
