Working with students and education has been a part of my life for about 11 years. I first began doing so in high school, around 1999 working as a volunteer with the YMCA. Eventually I became a counselor and would work my way up to Camp Director. I am proud to say that I am the first of my family to attend a University. Since I was younger, I have always been interested in teaching children. I have babysat for neighbors, tutored children at the elementary level, and I worked at two daycare centers as a Pre-K head teacher. I attended SUNY Oswego and received my bachelor's degree in Childhood Education 1-6 in May 2008. I also received that year my NYS Teaching Certificate.
