I have an Associates in Aviation Science with a minor in instrument drafting. I also have an Advanced drafting certificate in drafting and design. I specialize in AutoCad 2013/2014 and Autodesk Inventor (3D) 2013/2014 My objective is to obtain a position utilizing my skills and experience in the Drafting and Design industry. I am very detail-oriented, I have excellent communication and organizational skills, and I have a passion for working with other drafting professionals. I have no problem multitasking, and I can perform under pressure with little or no supervision. I am proficient with AutoCAD 2014, Autodesk Inventor Professional 2014, Microsoft office, word, and PowerPoint. I also take a lot of pride in my work and consider myself the best at what I do.

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that patience is key to a child's learning experience. When I was in school, I had teachers that were mostly concerned with tearing through the curriculum. Many times there were some left behind in the process who did not firmly grasp the concepts being taught. In one-on-one tutoring and teaching there is an opportunity to re-learn the material in a different way so that a child who may not have gotten in class has another chance to learn the material. What I have learned working with students is that many do not learn in the same manner. I beleive in what is called top process learning. Given the student a concept and allowing them to explore the possibilities of how one arrives at such a concept has allowed deeper critical thinking and strategic planning. However, this method is not predominately taught in Georgia education system. I have found this method to be very effective. The other method is patience. Students who strugge with their academic learning usually are having other areas of difficulty which may be social learning. Having clinical training allows me to make a more accurate assessment.

I can be helpful in math up through Algebra II, and have extensive knowledge of counseling, religious studies, writing, and have used accounting a bit in bookkeeping. I could tutor social studies up through high school because I have found such a great overlap between religion and counseling and human services. Right now I am in a class on trauma and presenting on human trafficking. I can tutor English in grammar and writing composition simply because of all the writing I have had to do for college.
