I have been teaching science at the secondary level for over 17 years. I have taught chemistry and advanced chemistry, Earth science which includes "GOMA" Geology, Oceanography, Meteorology and Astronomy. I have also taught physics for years and tutor for high school biology exams. While in Virginia 95% of my students passed the Virginia test for Chemistry. I like to teach hands on as much as I can, but my goal is to teach in a way that helps the learner understand.

I was a tutor while in college. I tutored students in History, Accounting, and Greek. I was a double major:Accounting and Christian Ministry. I was a substitute teacher in Indiana from 1990-1994. Currently, I am homeschooling my daughter. She is very gifted, so we are letting her interests lead us. She is the hardest one I have ever taught, but that is because I am so close to her.
