I achieved a BA with the intent to teach in the Public School System, however, I soon found myself earning a living as a Musician playing with some top acts. I spent 10 years traveling the US, Puerto Rico, Antigua, Cuba, and Panama with the USO. I have learned varied musical styles and vocal techniques during this time. Although I have taught, coached and tutored aorking professionals I only have one year experience actually teaching. Since I have been unemployed (July, 2008)I have been volunteering in a bilingual second grade at Hill Central Music Academy in New Haven, CT
I understand that children (and adults) have differennt learning styles and try to tailor my approach to the specific needs of the student.
